Marie Caneup

Marie Caneup, age 81, of Dayton died September 26, 2007 in the Rhea County Nursing Home. Marie was born September 7, 1926 in Lamar, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Judge Watford and Leola (Bradham) Watford and was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Caneup and her daughter, Mary Frances Harvey.

Marie was a homemaker and a member of the Scenic City Church of God in Chattanooga, TN.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Carol Annette Gaddy, sons Thomas A. Caneup, Jr., Jimmy W. Caneup and Eddy J. Caneup, eleven children and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1pm in the funeral home chapel where the family will receive friends after 11am.

Burial and graveside services will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, Ga.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton.
