Margie Bell Cummings

Margie Bell Cummings, age 72 of Pikeville died at her home Friday morning October 8, 2010. Margie was born on Evensville Mountain on April 23, 1938 the daughter of the late Robert Jesse James Jordan and Jessie (Felts) Jordan. She was also preceded in death by her son Tony Cummings.
Margie lived most of her life in Pikeville and had been employed as a beautician and then as a home health care nurse. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
She is survived by her beloved friend, Benny Songer of Pikeville, two daughters, Pat (Birch) Arnold of Dayton, Debbie (Bobby) Sullivan of Dayton Mountain, her son Ronald (Bertha) Cummings of Paris, TN, her brother, Edward Jordan of Dayton Mountain, five sisters, Mildred Cardwell and Thelma Ashley both of TX, Lavell Curry of Nashville, Katherine Anderson and Addie Brown both of Dayton Mountain, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Margie will be held Sunday morning at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Summer City Cemetery.
