Margaret Irene Young age 45 of Dayton died Thursday July 27, 2006 in her home.
She was born in Ringgold GA. April 2, 1961.
She lived in Rhea and Hamilton Counties most of her life and was a metal press operator. Margaret loved fishing and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Soddy.
Margaret is survived by her son, Jeremy Scott Merricks of Goochland, VA., her parents Leslie and Pat (Edge) Young of Crossville, TN., two grandchildren, Allison and Willie Merricks of Goochland, VA., her brother, Mike Young and sister, Michele Patton both of Hixson.
Funeral services for Margaret will be held Sunday at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ted Painter officiating. Burial will be in the Rosser Stone Merricks Cemetery in Rustburg, VA.
The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
