Marcelina "Mercy" Marx

April 26, 1945 — March 24, 2008

Marcelina P. “Mercy” Marx entered into rest Monday March 24, 2008 at Rhea Medical Center. Mercy was born in Norzaray, Bulacan, Philippines on April 26, 1945 and had lived in the United States for the past 20 years. She had been a resident of Dayton Mountain since February 2007. Mercy completed two years of study as a midwife and had ministered in a home to home ministry in Orlando, FL. She was a member of the Ogden Road Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Mercy is survived by her mother, Maxima Palad of Dayton Mountain; three brothers, Romualdo, Nehemias and Nathaniel Palad all of the Philippines; two sisters, Elizabeth Palad of the Philippines and Josie Arnett of Dayton Mountain; nephews, Gem, Lucky, Dexter and Eman Palad, nieces, Em and Jm Palad, and many aunties and cousins all of the Philippines.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4:00pm at the Ogden Road Cemetery on Dayton Mountain with Pastor Larry Owens officiating.
