Mae Harrison, age 87 of Cedine, passed away Friday morning, October 16, 2015 in Knoxville. She was born January 17, 1928 in Williamsburg, KY to the late Roy Stewart and Holda Cummings Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband Burlie Harrison.
Mae was a resident of Cedine since 1992 and lived previously in Ann Arbor, MI where she was property manager for a luxury apartment complex. After moving to Spring City, she was a volunteer at Cedine Bible Camp and was a member of First Baptist Church of Spring City.
She is survived by her son David (Janice) Harrison of Milan, MI, three daughters, Diane (Thom) Harris of Ypsilanti, MI, Danita (Danny) Galanopoulos of Loxley, AL and Donna (Rick) Guerra of Knoxville, one sister Jewel Kemplin of Sandy Hook, KY, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mae will be held Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the Cedine Bible Camp in Spring City with Pastor Jimmy Logan officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Cedine Cemetery.
