Virginia Louise Revis, age 81 of Dayton, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Erlanger in Chattanooga. She was born January 16, 1933 in Rhea County to the late Vinus and Linnie Tennessee (Sutton) Strader. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Revis, her brother Russell Strader, and sisters Betty Smith and Shirley Pritchett.
Louise was a nursing tech for 28 years and retired from Rhea County Medical Center and Rhea County Nursing Home. She was an avid quilter and seamstress.
She is survived by her sons, Russell Stinnett of Hixson and James (Pam) Stinnett of Spring City and daughters Debbie Williams of Pikeville and Sheila (James) Garrett of Dayton, one brother Huey (Lisa) Strader of Chattanooga, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Louise will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Spence Cemetery.
