Louise May MacNeil age 84 of Dayton went to be with her Lord and Savior early Sunday morning. She was born August 17, 1922 in Cleveland, OH. the daughter of the late Victor and Josephine (Cuthbert) Norris and was also preceded in death by her husband Louis MacNeil.
Louise was a long time resident of Florida, moving to Rhea County in 1989. She attended Bob Jones College in Cleveland,TN. Louise was the financial secretary for Faith Baptist Church in Margate, FL. and then general store manager and secretary at Fort Bluff Camp in Dayton. She was an avid cross stitcher. Louise was saved in her early 40’s and then ministered to the unlovable and lived a life of service. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Margate, FL and First Baptist Church in Dayton.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Vicki (Chris) Hentz Gould and grandson Douglas “Glen” Hentz II both of Dayton.
The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they received
friends Tuesday 4-6pm.
Services will be held Saturday October 28, 2006 at 10am at Fort Bluff Camp with Rev. Milton Knox, Dr. Mike Crain and Rev. Dave Sekura officiating followed by a white dove release. Memorial contributions may be made to Fort Bluff Camp Scholarship Fund.
