Louise Morton Keys

November 24, 1939 — April 24, 2021

Lillian Louise Morton Keys, 81, of Chattanooga, TN, entered into the arms of her Heavenly Father on April 24, 2021, while surrounded by her family.

Louise was best known as a loving wife, devoted mother, and beautiful, adoring grandmother and great grandmother. She was born on November 24, 1939, and raised in Evensville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Dixie Morton, and two sisters, Patricia Morton Randolph and Vivian Morton Smith.

She graduated from Tennessee Technological University where she met and married her college sweetheart, Bernard Keys. They shared a devoted marriage for 62 years. Louise took great joy in teaching children of all ages. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and recently attended Red Bank Church of Christ.

Louise will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bernard Keys; two daughters, Kim Keys Glisson (Bob) and Kristie Keys Breeden (Keith); and one son, Ted Randolph Keys (Allison). Louise was blessed with eight grandchildren, Andy Glisson (Megan), Joey Glisson (Holly), Blake Breeden, Jeremy Glisson (Melanie), Grayson Breeden, Dorathea Keys, Jonathan Bernard Keys, Isaiah Keys, and a great grandson, Coleman Thomas Glisson. She is also survived by her brothers, George Morton, Henry Morton (Joyce), Ben Morton (Cathy), Mike Morton (Susan), and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2021, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m. at the Vanderwall Funeral Home chapel with Minister Steve Lusk officiating.
Social distancing is strongly encouraged, and face masks are recommended.
