Spud lived in Lupton City most of his life where he owned his own heating and air business. He moved to Dayton six years ago and was a professional singer and played lead guitar in the surrounding counties. He enjoyed fishing, rabbit hunting and raised beagles.
Spud is survived by his wife of 19 years Rhonda (Higgins) Stiles of Dayton, his daughter,
Jamie Stiles at home, one son, Clint Stiles of Soddy Daisy, sister, Jo Morrison of Hixson and two brothers, J.B. Stiles of Hixson and Russell Stiles of FL., several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Spud will be held Sunday at 3pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. George Higgins, Dr. Doug Russell and Rev. John Fields officiating.
The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home of Dayton where they will receive friends Sunday 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers, an education fund for Jamie has been established at Am South Bank.
