Lloyd Thaxton Hancock Jr.

Lloyd Thaxton Hancock, Jr. age 70, of Dayton died Sunday, January 19, 2014 in Soddy Daisy. He was born February 3, 1943 in Dayton to the late Lloyd Thaxton Hancock, Sr. and Edith Pearl (Calbaugh) Hancock. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Jacob McCulley and his sister, Mary Bilodeau.
A resident of Dayton most of his life, Lloyd was a commercial truck driver and was a private pilot
Lloyd is survived by his four daughters, Patricia Heard and Billi McCulley, both of Crossville, Rachel Robinson of Rhea County, and Tina Hancock of Michigan; two brothers, Robert Hancock of Rhea County and William Hancock of TN; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lloyd will be Thursday at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Hobbs officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Spring City Memorial Gardens.
