Linda L. Parker of Lenoir City passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born in Dayton, the daughter of the late James Otha Ballard and Thelma (Wilkey) Ballard. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Ray Ballard and John Ballard, and her sister, Patricia Francisco.
Linda was born and raised in Dayton, lived in Hixson and Knoxville, and lived in Lenoir City for the past three years. She was a graduate of Rhea Central High School. She was employed by DuPont and later TVA where she was a public safety officer and later official record officer for the Board of Directors.
Linda is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bobby Parker of Lenoir City; her four sons, Wayne Janow and Terry (Becky) Janow, both of Dayton, Kenny Janow of Sale Creek, and Robert (Aaron) Parker, Jr., of Knoxville; her four daughters, Angie (Mark) Beavers of Dayton, Michelle (Curtis) Haman of Dunlap, Kristi Krause of Hixson, and Jessica (David) Blair of Hixson; her three brothers, Bruce (Lounell) Ballard, Larry (Evelyn) Ballard, and Tommy (Kathy) Ballard, all of Dayton; her sister, Charlotte Dotson of Dayton; her 19 grandchildren; and her 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Linda will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Eddie Suttles officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens next to her sister Patricia. Her grandchildren will be the pallbearers.
