Lelia Jean Smith, age 77 of Graysville died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at her home. She was born September 6, 1934 in Rhea County to the late Gordon and Pearl (Clingan) Creasman. She was also preceded in death by her husband George J. Smith, her sister Mary Ruth Howard and great-grandson Dakota Pugh.
She was an arch and gas welder at Cavalier Corp and was a member of Victory Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Fay Shell (Rodney) Smith, brothers Doyle (Maxine) Creasman and Frank ( Lucy ) Creasman both of Graysville and Gary Creasman of Nashville, five grandchildren Jason Shell, Amy (Kevin) Pugh, Steven (Stephanie) Shell, Maggie (Terry) Shell and Josh (Angela) Shell and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lelia will be Saturday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Eugene Shrum and Rev. Leland Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton.
