Laurie Ann King, age 56, of Dayton died Saturday, August 11, 2018 at her home in Dayton. She was born October 20, 1961 in Dallas, TX.
Laurie was a resident of Dayton for many years. She was a Caregiver at Rhea of Sunshine in Dayton, a volunteer at Rhea Co. Meals on Wheels and at Rhea Co. Senior Center. Laurie enjoyed very much taking care of the elderly and in need. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son Wesley King and her daughter Jamie (Eddie) Clark of Dayton; her mother Mary Allred of Midlothian, TX; her brothers James King, Joe King, Jack King, David Allred, and Matthew Allred all of Midlothian, TX; her two grandchildren Abby King and Jake Clark of Dayton; her aunt Dorothy Caraway and her special cousin Debra Caraway Baker both of Evensville. She was preceded in death by her father Clinton King.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Avalon Hospice of Cleveland and to her dedicated caregivers Kris Purvis and Terry Dickerman.
Funeral services for Laurie will be held Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rick Mooneyham officiating.
