Larry Franklin Forester Sr.

Larry Franklin Forester, Sr., age 53 of Sale Creek peacefully went home to be with his Lord Saturday morning, May 28, 2011 while at home. Larry was born in Chattanooga on April 19, 1958 the son of the late John Grady Forester, Jr. and Dorothy Margaret (Cahoon) Forester.
He lived most of his life in Sale Creek and was a graduate of Kirkman Technical High School and had attended Chattanooga State Technical College. Larry had been employed as a machinist and was of the Church of God faith.
Larry is survived by his son, Larry F. (Justina) Forester of Ringgold, GA, two daughters, Mysti Autumn Forester and Holli Amber Forester both of Sale Creek, four brothers, John G. (Pearlene) Forester III of Hixson, Joe K. (Pat) Forester Sr. of Harrison, James D. Forester, Sr. of Harrison and Marshall P. (Terry) Forester of East Chattanooga, one sister, Charlotte (Bill) Dover of Harrison and one grandson Gaige Dakota Forester. Larry is also survived by his fiance’ Tina R. Poe of Sale Creek.
Funeral services for Larry will be held Monday evening at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with his pastor, Rev. Jeff McKnight officiating He will be laid to rest Tuesday morning at 11:00am in Greenwood Cemetery in Chattanooga.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Monday after 2:00pm.
