Larry Dale Ray

Larry Dale Ray, age 58 of Dayton, passed into Glory Friday night, November 18, 2011 at Rhea Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1953 in Fort Devens, MA to Jewell and Elizabeth “Betty” (Gray) Ray. A resident of Dayton since 1996, he was employed by Rhea of Sunshine and was a member of Sale Creek Independent Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his father and mother, Jewell and Betty Ray of Dayton, his brother Alan (Margot) Ray of Stockton, CA, nephew Daniel Ray of San Francisco, CA, niece Laura Ray of Sacramento, CA, uncle David Gray of Brentwood, CA and special aunts Mary Gray of Soddy Daisy and Barbara Bird of Spring City.
Funeral services for Larry will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Phil Evaul officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Soddy Presbyterian Cemetery.
