Kyle Wayne Rice, age 56 of Dayton Mountain, passed away at his home early Thursday morning, February 10, 2022. He was born in Battle Creek, MI, on October 23, 1965. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Glenn Rice.
Kyle moved to Dayton 36 years ago from Battle Creek, MI. He was a retired United States Postal clerk. He had also been employed at La-Z-Boy and had been a migrant school teacher. He earned his Associate Degree from Cleveland State and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid fan of Star Trek and Star Wars.
Kyle is survived by his wife of 27 years, Brenda Gail (Crowe) Rice of Dayton Mountain; his daughter, Carlissa (Christopher) Miller of Dayton; his two granddaughters, Bristol Wilson and Emma Miller, both of Dayton; his brother, Kevin (Sonja) Rice of Dayton Mountain; his sister, Peggy Rice of Battle Creek, MI; and his mother, Janet Louise (Beaudrie) Rice of Dayton Mountain.
Funeral services for Kyle will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Skip Mason officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his father in Morgan Springs Cemetery.
