Kelly Ann Howard

Kelly Ann Howard, age 53, of Soddy Daisy died Monday, May 5, 2014 in Chattanooga. She was born July 22, 1960 in Chattanooga to the late Kenneth and Triva (Burns) Wood. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Roger Wood and sister, Denise Frizzell.
A resident of Hamilton County most of her life, Kelly was employed as a deputy clerk in the Registry of Deeds office in Chattanooga. She had a great love for animals and was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God and previously, Sale Creek Church of God.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Vernon Howard of Soddy Daisy; her son, Jeremy Wayne Howard of Soddy Daisy; her daughter, Lisa Ann Rhodes of Middle Valley; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; stepmother, Julia Davis Wood of Harrison; nephew, Steven (Angela) Frizzell of Kennesaw, GA and niece, Carrie (Tyler) Bannon of Alaska.
Funeral services for Kelly will be held Thursday at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Evans officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her sister in the New McDonald Cemetery in Harrison on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. followed by a white dove release.
