Katherine Carolyn Walden, age 73 of Spring City, died early Tuesday morning, July 30, 2013 at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton. She was born July 25, 1940 in Rhea County to the late James and Mary (Smith) Tilley.
A resident of Rhea County all her life, Katherine was a homemaker and attended Hilltop Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jack Walden; two sisters, Florence (Glen) Woody and Linda Lemons, all of Spring City and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Katherine will be held Thursday at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Ad Smith Cemetery in Spring City.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
