Katie Post

Katherine Danielle “Katie” Post, age 18, of Soddy Daisy, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Chattanooga. She was born May 20, 1995 in Fort Olgethorpe, GA to Timmy and Deborah (Keeney) Post. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Rachel Keeney, Sue Webb, and Betty Webb.
A resident of Soddy Daisy most of her life, Katie was a graduate of Soddy Daisy High School and was attending Chattanooga State College. She enjoyed fishing, movies, four-wheeling and sushi.
Katie is survived by her daughter, Elaina Hope Post; parents, Tim and Deborah Post, all of Soddy Daisy; grandparents, Henry and Linda Post of Graysville and Gary and Anita Webb of Soddy Daisy; special cousins, T.J. Post and Alisha Carden, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Funeral services for Katie will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest in the Cranmore Cove Cemetery.
