Katherine Edmondson

Katherine Edmondson, age 87 of Graysville, TN died Saturday evening March 23, 2013 at her home. She was born March 2, 1926 in Rhea County to the late McKinley and Margie (Jordan) Romines. She was also preceded in death by her husband Walter Edmondson, two brothers Allen (Nivalee) Romines and Billy Mack (Peggy) Romines and three sisters Betty (Dude) Clayton, Wanda (Jim) Smith and Gertrude Romines.
A lifelong resident of Rhea County, Katherine was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her son Jimmy (Charlotte) Edmondson of Dayton and daughter Nancy (the late Gifford) Fuller of Sale Creek, sisters Margaret (the late Charles) Morgan of Dayton, Theldon (Tom) Long of Spring City and Martha (Norm) Vance of Rockwood, grandchildren Valerie (Joe) Andreas, Gifford Lee (Pam) Fuller, Ritchey (Andrea) Edmondson, Wally (Shannon) Edmondson and Tammy (Randy) Parks, great-grandchildren River and Brook Cumnock, Brayden Edmondson, Katilyn Fuller, Isabella and Lily Park, Josh Teeter, Samantha Perry and very special friends Will (Kelly) Commins and William and Brody Commins.
Funeral services for Katherine will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Connie Goins officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Rhea Memory Gardens.
