Junior Andrew Stinnett age 76, of Dayton died early Saturday morning March 6, 2010 in the Etowah Health Care Center. Junior was born in Dayton on June 18, 1933 the son of the late Ernest and Sarah ( Profitt) Stinnett.
Junior lived most of his life in Dayton and attended Garrison Baptist Church. He retired from TVA as a plant foreman and had served his country with the US Army. He was a devoted father and a beloved grandfather.
He is survived by his son, Andrew Stinnett of Chattanooga, three daughters, Vicky May of Dayton, Lisa Keylon of Nashville and Sarah Denise Stinnett of Dayton, two brothers, Jimmy Stinnett of Evensville and Doyle Stinnett of Dayton, two sisters, Geraldine Woody and Cleo Brooks both of Dayton, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Junior will be held Monday evening at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Breeden officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
