Joyce Marie Greer

Joyce Marie (Gilkey) Greer, age 77 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. She was born in Bardstown, KY, on November 16, 1942, the daughter of the late James and Kathleen (Cull) Gilkey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Clifton Greer; her daughter, Joanna Greer; and her sister, Susan Clark.
Joyce had lived in Dayton since 1987, was employed as an RN at Laurelbrook Nursing Home, and was a member of Brayton SDA Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Matthew (Jana) Greer of Dunlap and Jay Greer of Connellsville, PA; her five grandchildren, Jonathan, David, Justice, and Jakob Greer and Kurtis Thompson; and her two brothers, James Gilkey of Oregon and Greg (Pam) Gilkey of Indiana.
A memorial service for Joyce will be held at Brayton SDA Church at a later date.

The family is being cared for by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton.
