Jonathan Eric Whitaker

Jonathan Eric Whitaker age 42 of Pikeville died Friday December 17, 2010 in Erlanger Bledsoe Hospital in Pikeville. Jon was born in Chattanooga on December 13, 1968 and was preceded in death by his father, Lamar Whitaker.
Jon was a graduate of Ooltewah High School and had been employed as a journeyman welder for Alstrom Power.
Jon is survived by his wife, Pat (Powell) Whitaker, his mother, Jean (Mooneyhan) Whitaker, daughter Brianne Whitaker all of Pikeville, daughter Erin Whitaker of Apison, son, Kyle Whitaker of Chattanooga, brother, Tommy (Melanie) Whitaker of Chattanooga and niece Shayna Whitaker of Chattanooga.
Funeral services for Jon will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Donnie Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Brayton Cemetery on Graysville Mountain.
