John Mark Campbell, age 60 of Hixson and formerly of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center in Roswell, GA. He was born on January 30, 1961, in Madison, TN.
John lived in Dayton for many years before moving to Hixson. He retired from TVA where he was an electrical engineer and was a member of First Baptist Church in Spring City. He enjoyed beach vacations, being with his children and grandchildren, working behind the scenes as the audio engineer at his church, and was a Vols fan.
John is survived by his wife of 34 years, Belinda Annette (Hester) Campbell of Hixson; his son, Cole (Payton) Campbell of Knoxville; his two daughters, Courtney (Jamaal) Greene and Caitlyn (Andrew) Tucker, both of Hixson; his mother, Rebecca (Johnson) Campbell of Pigeon Forge; his two brothers, Steve (Sonja) Campbell and Phil (Deb) Campbell, both of Sevierville; and his six grandchildren, Ellie, David Krew, and Levi Johnathon Campbell, Graeson Greene, and Campbell and Ruthie Tucker. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Campbell.
A Celebration of Life Service for John will be held Monday, January 3, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Spring City with his pastor, Rev. Brian Price officiating.
