Joe Coulter

Euclid Joe Coulter, age 72 of Dayton went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday morning, February 17, 2012 at Parkridge Medical Center.
Joe was born on October 8, 1939 the son of the late James and Lucy (Dunn) Coulter. He was a graduate of Rhea Central High School, class of 1957 and served with the National Guard for six years. He retired from Dupont after many years and then worked for Tennessee Trailers delivering trailers to dealers and also helped as a funeral director’s assistant at Vanderwall Funeral Home. Joe was a Christian man and was well known in the area for his gospel singing with his wife and daughters.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joy (Standifer) Coulter, his two daughters, Annetta Langston of Dayton and Tina (Jeff) Hood of Birmingham, his son, Brooks (Rose) Coulter of Dayton, two sisters, Sudie (Orville) Thomas of Tiptonville and Thelma Collier of Graysville. Joe is also survived by his nine grandchildren, Jessica, Lacey, Brooke, Jared, Jamison, Charlie, Tonya, Kaylan and Celsey along with three great-grandchildren, Savannah Joy, Jakeb and Brooks.
Funeral services for Joe will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Talley and Phyllis Aslinger officiating. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens followed by a white dove release.
