Jo Ann Creason

Jo Ann Creason, age 67, of Dayton died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at her home. She was born December 18, 1941 in Ten Mile, TN, the daughter of the late J. L. and Irene (Nelson) Gates. She was also preceded in death by her brother Carlos Gates.

She was a long time resident of Dayton and retired after 34 years with Kayser Roth where she was a machine operator. She was a member of the Garrison Baptist Church.

Jo Ann is survived by her son, David Creason of Dayton, granddaughter, Tabitha Creason of Cookeville, sister, Brenda Hackler of Dayton, brothers, Charles Gates and Tom Gates both of AL and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jo Ann will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Mr. Stefon Gray officiating. Burial will be in Rhea Memory Gardens followed by a white dove release.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Friday after 12 o’clock noon.
