Jewell Betty Ashburn, age 73 of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at her home. She was born in Dayton on February 26, 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Ashburn.
Jewell was a homemaker, liked fishing, and was of the Baptist faith.
Jewell is survived by her son, Randy Dial of Dayton and her sister, JoAnn Wilcox of Niota.
A graveside funeral service for Jewell will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Buttram Cemetery with Rev. Rodney Dunn officiating. Jewell will be laid to rest next to her husband.
