Jean Sullivan

November 29, 1927 — January 3, 2013

Jean Sullivan, age 85 of Dayton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Thursday January 3, 2013 at Rhea Medical Center. She was born November 29, 1927 in Saginaw, MI to the late Clarence and Violet (Ealy) Nettleton. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Sullivan, Sr., son James Thomas Sullivan, Jr., grandson Nello Christopher Marconi, brothers Floyd Nettleton, Donald Nettleton and George Nettleton and sister Betty Nibbilink.
Jean was raised in Saginaw and graduated from Grand Marais High School. A resident of Dayton Mountain since 1981, she was a bookkeeper, blueberry farmer and a homemaker. She attended Grace Bible Church in Dayton.
She is survived by her daughter Mary (Nello) Marconi of Arlington, VA, daughter-in-law Lyric Sullivan of Dayton Mountain, grandson James Henry Sullivan of Dayton, granddaughters Dawn (Pete) Ullmann of Calhoun, GA, Alicia Marconi of Arlington, VA and Jennifer (Jamie) Gregor of Brandon, FL, great-grandson Nathanael Ullmann of Calhoun, GA and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Jean will be held Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Doug Russell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.
