Jacqueline Roberson

December 30, 1951 — July 12, 2013

Jacqueline Roberson age 61 of Dayton passed Friday, July 12, 2013 at a hospital in Chattanooga. Jackie was born in Dayton on December 30, 1951 the daughter of the late Charles Ivory Sharp, Sr. and Mary Magdalene (Johnson) Sharp. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Robert Earl Sharp and Charles Ivory Sharp, Jr., her sister, Phyllis Jean Coffield and her grandson, Ivory Collins.
Jackie lived all of her life in Dayton and was a graduate of Rhea Central High School, Class of 1969. She had been employed most recently at Dayton Plastics as a press operator. She was a flag football mom and loved softball. Jackie was very active in her church, Destiny International Ministries, where she was an Evangelist, a member of the usher board and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Butterfly Ministries.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kandice Sharp of Chattanooga and Brittany Roberson of Soddy, her son, William Gregory Roberson, Jr. of Dayton, two brothers, William (Yolanda) Sharp and Ralph Sharp both of Dayton and her two grandsons, Savien Sharp of Dayton and Essex Martin of Soddy.
Funeral services for Jackie will be held Tuesday afternoon at 5:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Donald L. Pratt, Sr., Minister Teresa Smith and Pastor Del Sharp officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her brother in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Dayton.
