Holly Nicole Blaylock, age 43 of Sale Creek passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at home. Holly was born in Knoxville on December 22, 1973, the daughter of Larry Blaylock and Phyllis (Rollins) Blaylock. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers Cecil “Pat” Blaylock and William Rollins, and a brother, Eric Blaylock.
Holly formerly worked at Dr. Stuart Bacon’s office for 25 years. She also worked at Dr. Dan Logans office for 7 years. She started, with the help of friends, the No Kill Shelter in Dayton. She loved animals, was an avid dog and cat rescuer and enjoyed riding motorcycles.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas Seth Blaylock at home, parents Larry and Phyllis Blaylock of Sale Creek, two grandmothers, Frankie Blaylock of Harriman and Gean Rollins of Oakdale, a brother Patrick Blaylock of Dayton and a half brother Andy Tapp of Fairview.
Funeral services for Holly will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Allen Harwood officiating. She will be laid to rest in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Chattanooga Thursday at 12 noon.
