Hershel Miller

Hershel Leon Miller, age 96 of Dayton, died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the Rhea Medical Center in Dayton. He was born December 24, 1911 in Derwent, OH, the son of the late Otto and Blanch (King) Miller. He was also preceded in death by his wife E. Cecile Livesay Miller.

Hershel retired from the Keebler Biscuit Company and moved to Dayton in 1974. He served his country in the U.S. Naval Reserve and was the oldest member of the Grace Bible Church.

Hershel is survived by his daughters, Patricia, Linda and Trudy Miller all of Dayton, brother Ottis Miller and sister Eileen Jones, both of Wellsville, OH.

Funeral services for Hershel will be held Friday at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Fields officiating. Burial will be in the Spring City Memory Gardens.
