Henry David Beam, age 61 of Dayton, passed away at his brother’s home on Signal Mountain Monday, November 30, 2020. David was born in Dayton on December 24, 1958 and was a graduate of Briar Crest High School in Memphis where he was active in both the band and marching band. He was an accomplished musician playing both the trumpet and French horn. After graduation he remained involved in music as a member of several bands where he both played instruments and sang.
In 2000 David returned to Dayton where he was employed with the city of Dayton and also with Mark Anton Municipal Airport. David enjoyed tinkering, mechanics and working on mowers. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where he assisted with the music sound board.
He is survived by his mother, Nancy (West) Beam of Dayton, his two brothers, Charles “Daryle” (Amber) Beam of Signal Mountain and James Christopher (Jennifer) Beam of Dayton. David was preceded in death by his dad, Charles “Charlie” Beam and his brother Allison Daniel “Danny” Beam.

Funeral Services for David will be held Friday evening, December 4, 2020 at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Chris Sheets officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his dad in Rhea Memory Gardens on Saturday morning at 11:00am.
Social distancing is strongly encouraged and MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED.
