Helen Marie (Pelfrey) Clark, age 55 of Graysville, died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton. She was born June 22, 1956 in Battle Creek, MI to the late Charles Leonard Pelfrey and Avis Marie (Van Valkenburg) Pelfrey.
She was a Rhea County resident for many years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed horseback riding, fishing and camping.
She is survived by her daughters Avis “Marie” (Rodney Thurman) Pelfrey of Graysville and Christy (Jeff Elder) Thurman of Dayton Mountain, three brothers Charles Pelfrey and John Lee Pelfrey, both of Michigan and Shawn Pelfrey of Dayton, four sisters Charlene Bassler and Roberta Pelfrey, both of Michigan and Tina Pelfrey and Stephanie Lemons Pelfrey, both of Dayton, and six grandchildren, Austin Thurman, Chance Thurman, Ethan Thurman, Colton Thurman, Garytt Elder and Elisha King.
Graveside funeral services for Helen will be Friday at 11:00 am at the Rigsby Cemetery on Dayton Mountain.
