Gussie Frechette Long

June 8, 1911 — February 20, 2007

Gussie Frechette Long age 95 of Dayton, TN died Tuesday, February 20, 2007 in Rhea County Nursing Home. She was born June 8, 1911 in Russia the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna (Mendelson) Hyde. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Albert Frechette and her second husband Milton Long and her oldest son, Albert L. Frechette, Jr.

Gussie worked at Anthony Mill and retired as a machine operator from Lew Mfg in Coventry, RI. She served on the governing boards of the Golden Agers and AARP and AARP Seniors of Coventry, RI. Gussie was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Gussie was a long time resident of Coventry, RI and has been a resident of Dayton, TN since 1998.

She is survived by her son Paul and (Judy) Frechette of Dayton, five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Gussie will be held Thursday at 4:30pm in Laurelbrook Chapel in Dayton, TN with Pastor Larry Owens officiating. Burial will be in the Laurelbrook Cemetery on Dayton Mountain.
