Grady Levoy Francisco, age 85 of Sale Creek died early Wednesday morning November 26, 2008 in Rhea Medical Center. Grady was born in Sale Creek on July 5, 1923 the son of the late Carl and Sarah (Iles) Francisco. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Alene Williams.
Grady was a life long resident of Sale Creek and retired from Gemline in Chattanooga as a supervisor. He was a member of the Sale Creek Masonic Lodge and the New Providence United Methodist Church. He served his country with the US Army during WWII in Italy. Grady also enjoyed farming.
Grady is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bernice (Jordan) Francisco, his son, Dennis (Sharon) Francisco, two sisters, Margie (Fred) Morgan and Marcena Pendergrass all of Sale Creek, two grandsons, Randall Francisco of Goodlettsville and Russell (Lisa) Francisco of Sale Creek and his three great-grandsons.
Funeral services for Grady will be held Friday evening at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Purser officiating. Graveside services and burial with military honors will be held Saturday morning at 11:00am in Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton.
