Gloria Monica Shipwash, age 76 of Spring City, passed on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at her home. She was born in Chattanooga on November 13, 1949, the daughter of the late James and Roberta (Whitfield) McCulley.

A devoted Baptist, Gloria made Spring City her home for the past 25 years. She dedicated her professional life to quality control at Dixie Yarns, while her free time was filled with the activities she loved most camping, dancing, and bowling.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 24 years, Richard Shipwash of Spring City; her daughter, Melissa (Michael) Lowery of Chattanooga; her son, Michael (Carrie) Williams of Hixson; her three grandchildren; Steven McCrary of Georgetown, Chasity McNabb of Hixson, and Monet Williams of Ringgold, GA; and her two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Gloria will be on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Rick Knight officiating. She will be laid to rest at Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton.
