Gladys Turner

Gladys Louise Turner, age 89, of Graysville, Tn died Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at her home in Graysville. She was born May 8, 1918 in Crab Orchard, TN, the daughter of the late Truman and Maysel (McDaniels) Reed. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Clinton Turner, Sr., sons, Vernon Eugene Turner and Charles Clinton Turner, Jr.

Gladys retired after many years with the Hamilton County school system as a cook at the Soddy Daisy Middle School. She was a member of the Saddle Pals Riding Club and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son Bobbie Dale Turner of Graysville, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Gladys will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, TN

The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, TN where they will receive friends Friday until 8:00 pm.
