Gladys Edwina Davis age 79 of Dayton passed Saturday morning at her home. She was born in Dayton on October 4, 1934 the daughter of the late Earl and Icy (Angel) Tulloss.
Gladys lived all of her life in Dayton. She was a graduate of the Carver High School in Dayton and served her country as a practical nurse with the US Air Force. Gladys was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Edward Davis, her son Chad Davis and her daughter Jill Davis all of Dayton, five sisters, Betty Jo Cody of Morristown, Cecelia (Earl) Brown of Knoxville, Celina (James) Brown of Indianapolis, IN, Ruth Tulloss of Franklin and Moya Martin of Dayton, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces.
Graveside services with military honors were held Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm in Rhea Memory Gardens with Rev. Robert Henderson officiating.
