Georgianna Belle Elsea, age 73 of Dayton and formerly of Soddy Daisy died at her home Sunday afternoon March 27, 2011. Belle was born in Sale Creek on September 15, 1937 the daughter of the late Floyd and Pauline (Barnes) Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Elsea, III, and her brother, Bub Moore.
Belle lived in Sale Creek and then Soddy Daisy until moving to Dayton in 2003. She retired as a clerk after many years at Paul’s Produce. She was of the Baptist faith and loved Christmas and decorating for Christmas. Anna Belle was also an avid Braves fan.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeff (Linda) Moore of GA and James (Tina “Roxanne”) Elsea of Dayton, her two daughters, Stephanie Davis of Dayton and Ronda (Ricky) Ball of Sale Creek, her brother, Roger (Sue) Moore of Graysville and two sisters, Brenda (Wesley) Smith of Bakewell and Kate (Randall) Price of Soddy-Daisy along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Anna Belle will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Headrick officiating. A family graveside service will be held Wednesday at 12 noon in Rhea Memory Gardens where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Jimmy with Rev. Douglas Graham officiating followed by a white dove release.
