Georgia Brenda Poe

Georgia Brenda Poe, age 64 of Sale Creek died Saturday afternoon, May 1, 2010 at Erlanger. Brenda was born in Mayking, KY on October 6, 1945 the daughter of the late Arthur and Lona (Craft) Thomas.
Brenda was a graduate of Sale Creek High School and a member of the Rock Creek Community Church. She had been employed for many years as a seamstress with Kayser-Roth.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny E. Poe and daughter, Tina Poe both of Sale Creek, three sons, Johnny L. Poe of Dayton and Jessie Poe and Jody Poe both of Soddy; two sisters, Wilma Gregory of Sale Creek and Nyoka Yearwood of Dayton, four brothers, Rev. Orville Thomas of Tiptonville, Troy Thomas and Don Thomas both of Sale Creek and Rev. Arthur Thomas of South Pittsburg; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Brenda will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Sandell and Rev. Dennis Goins officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasantview Cemetery in Graysville.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends all day Monday.
