George Joseph Pritchett, age 78 of Spring City died Tuesday October 28, 2014 in Dayton. He was born May 25, 1936 in Walker County,GA to the late Charles Benton Pritchett and Alice Mae (Porter) Pritchett.
George was a resident of Rhea County most his life. He was a carpenter and enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beulah Mae (Evitt) Pritchett of Spring City, four daughters Julie (James) Kaylor of Dayton, Marilyn Headlee of Perry, FL, Sonya (Kevin) Franklin of Dayton ,Tessa (Michael) Moody of Dayton, a brother Tony (Patricia) Pritchett of Dayton and 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for George will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.Von Dunn and James Kaylor officiating. He will be laid to rest Friday morning in the Pritchett Cemetery in Evensville.
