Frances Willene “T” Davis, age 76 of Dayton and a long time resident of Sale Creek died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at her home. “T” was born January 23, 1933 in Sale Creek to the late William Henry and Elsie (Shipley) Iles.
“T” was a member of the North Dayton Church of God. She was a retired data processor for the I.R.S. and the U.S. Forestry Service and loved to play the piano.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Al Ray Davis, her son Darrell McMillan of Dayton, her daughter Edwina Brown of Dallas, GA, brothers Tom Iles and Marty Iles, both of Graysville, TN, sisters Mickey Bell of Sale Creek and Bob Cassidy of Graysville, granddaughter Kerri (Rick) Daniel of Dallas, GA, grandsons Jason (Cindy) Brown and James (Mardenin) McMillan of Dayton, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and best friends Charlotte Dotson of Dayton and Dottie Hodge of Sale Creek.
Funeral services for “T” will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Archie Poole and Rev. Jerry Feathers officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Cemetery followed by a white dove release.
