Faye Harwood, age 75 of Dayton died Wednesday morning, March 15, 2017 in Chattanooga. She was born October 23, 1941 in Rhea County to the late Addison and Velva (Aslinger) Burton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Harwood.
Faye was a graduate of Rhea Central High School class of 1960 and she retired from Dayton Walmart. She was a member of Spivey Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son Brad (Amanda) Harwood, daughter Angie Hutchins, granddaughters, Megan (Fiancée Kevin Vincent) Harwood, Katelyn Harwood and Brooke Morley, great-grandchildren Valor Vincent, Vance Vincent and Tucker Vincent, all of Dayton. She is also survived by her two sisters Shirley Scarborough of Dayton and Ruth Hughes of Soddy Daisy, one brother Bobby (Carolyn) Burton of Dayton, niece Melissa Keylon and great-nephew Logan Hall of Dayton.
A graveside funeral service for Faye will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Rhea Memory Gardens with Rev. Archie Poole officiating.
