Ethel V. Iverson, age 92 of Dayton died Sunday October 23, 2011 at Erlanger Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga. She was born July 7, 1919 in Havre, MT to the late J.P. and Mary Thomas Countryman. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Paul Iverson.
Ethel spent most of her life in Montana before moving to Ooltewah, TN two years ago to be near her daughter. She was a teacher and an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Great Falls, MT.
She is survived by her daughters Dorene (David) Lifford of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada and Donna (Tom) Watson of Ooltewah, TN, grandson Reggie (Jen) Watson, granddaughters Melissa Watson and Diana (German) Lifford-Morera, and many in-laws, nephews and nieces.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Great Falls at a later date.
