Elmer Ray Suttles, age 58 of Dayton died Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2009 at his home. He was born in Dayton on December 13, 1950 and lived all of his life in Dayton.
Elmer was a graduate of Rhea Central High School; had been employed with Robinson Manufacturing for thirty years and attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Dayton.
He is survived by his two sons, Shaun Suttles and Adam Suttles, daughter, Sheena Burton and his father, Harold Suttles all of Dayton. Elmer was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Darlene (Rose) Suttles and his mother, Virginia (Mitchell) Suttles.
Funeral services for Elmer will be held Monday at 12 noon with Rev. Bob Carroll and Rev. Audie May officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Buttram Cemetery in Dayton.
The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Sunday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
