Ellen "Ellie" Marie Crawford

Ellen “Ellie” Marie Crawford, age 65 of Dayton, passed away at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga on Saturday, September 27, 2025. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on June 2, 1960, the daughter of the late Ronald and Sally (Kruse) Kretz. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sandy Kretz, and her grandson, Derren Fenter.

Ellie lived in Toledo, Ohio, before moving to Dayton in 2002. She was a clerk at Local Market in Dayton and enjoyed gardening and plants, baking, and fishing.

Ellie is survived by her daughters, Kristyn (Linda) Sams of Toledo, Ohio, and Amanda Crawford of Dayton; her grandchildren, her grandchildren, Hannah Marshall, Sabastian Marshall, and Brandon Collins, all of Dayton, Dylan (Sarah) Roberts of Perrysburg, Ohio, Heaven Sams of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Joshua Sams of Toledo, Ohio; her 7 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Mark Kretz of Florida, Terry (Christine) Kretz of Ohio, Michael Pryor of Ohio, and Ronaldo Newton of Hawaii; and her sisters, Nikki Sharp of Florida and Holly Pryor of Ohio.

There will be no services for Ellie at this time.
