Elizabeth Grace “Beth” Harrell, age 49 of Sale Creek, passed away in the early morning of Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Parkridge Emergency in Soddy-Daisy. She was born on February 5, 1977, in Crossnore, NC, the daughter of the late Charles Henry Ward and Phoebe Hoilman, who survives her. She is also preceded in death by her two brothers, Patrick Harrell and Brian Harrell.

Beth was a Shaman, and an Interfaith Minister with a PhD who brought wisdom and warmth to every community she called home. After twelve years in Kingsport and five in Knoxville, she had recently put down roots in Sale Creek, where she continued to fill her days with the things she loved most — singing, cooking, and tending her garden.

In addition to her mother, Pheobe Hoilman of Newland, NC, Beth is survived by her husband, Brent T. Harrell of Sale Creek; her stepdaughter, Rhianon Harrell of Charlotte, NC.

A gathering is planned at her home at a later date.
