Elisabeth V. Johnston, age 85 of Dayton and formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, died Thursday, October 23, 2008 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Dudley P. Johnston.
Elisabeth lived in Ft. Lauderdale until 2006 when she moved to Dayton, TN and was of the Lutheran faith.
Elisabeth is survived by two sons, Dudley D. (Renate) Johnston and Robert (Julie) Johnston, both of Dayton, brother Rudolph (Katie) von der Grun of Germany, sister Katherine Henning of Pompano Beach, FL, two grandchildren Christina (Shawn) McMillin of Dayton, TN and Nichole (Brad) Marler of Pikeville, TN and two great-grandchildren Brynn McMillin of Dayton and Nicholas Marler of Pikeville.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 27 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm in the chapel of Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton.
Graveside services for Elisabeth will be held Friday October 31, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Ft. Lauderdale, FL The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Kalis-McIntee Funeral home in Wilton Manors, Fl.
The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, TN

Elisabeth lived in Ft. Lauderdale until 2006 when she moved to Dayton, TN and was of the Lutheran faith.
