Elige Dunn

Rev. Elige Dunn, age 90 of Dayton, went to his Heavenly home, Monday morning, March 16, 2015 in Dayton. He was born May 1, 1924 in Bledsoe County to the late Scott and Emma (Roberts) Dunn. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruth (Thurman) Dunn, five brothers and two sisters.
Rev. Dunn was a long-time member of Friendship Baptist Church and was a pastor there for several years. He retired from Robinson’s Manufacturing Company after 25 years and was also a land surveyor.
He is survived by his son Lonnie (Virginia) Dunn, three daughters, Velma (Carroll) Henderson and Martha Rothwell, all of Dayton and Bonnie Smith of Pikeville, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Rev. Dunn will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Von Dunn and Rev. Carroll Henderson officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Rhea Memory Gardens
