Edward “Marion” Sedman, age 76, of Rockwood, died Thursday, December 26, 2013 in Oak Ridge. He was born August 3, 1937 in Spring City to the late Alfred and Audrey (Ferguson) Sedman. He was also preceded in death by his wife Linda (Bunch) Sedman.
Previously of Dayton, Edward was a resident of Rockwood since 1984. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from C.F. Industries in Chattanooga and from Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge as a senior lab technician.
He is survived by his three daughters Kaye Sedman of Oak Ridge, Pam Sedman and Kim (Brian) Hanson, all of Rockwood, two brothers Harold (Maida) Sedman of Hixson and Robert “Allen” (Ginger) Sedman of Dayton, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services with military honors for Edward will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Young officiating. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
